Run together on Halloween

Dear runners,
the long wait is over – the date for the Airport Night Run 2021 has been set!
On Saturday, 30 October 2021, we will start on a new route towards the sunset. In previous years, you were allowed to run on Germany’s most famous construction site. In the meantime, however, the BER track belongs to the planes taking off and landing. But with the new location – the Berlin ExpoCenter Airport – we are offering you unique access to a site that serves as the venue for the “Berlin International Aerospace Exhibition” (ILA) and is a new discovery for you. This gives you the opportunity to run right next to the runway of the BER, feel the turbine wind and take off together towards the finish line. The core of the run is a huge airport hangar that has to be crossed several times. Special lighting effects, pyro and music will guarantee goose bumps!

A new location brings new distances. For the little ones among us, we are offering a children’s run of approx. 1.2 km for the first time. In keeping with the Halloween weekend, the kids can take to the course dressed up. As ghost, witch or vampire – we are looking forward to your spooky costumes.

A new challenge is the modified 4×5 km relay (2020: 4×4 km). The popular 10 km course will remain. Unfortunately, we are not able to implement the 21 km distance this year, which is why appropriate alternative options will be offered.
Registration is now open. All further information can be found on the Airport Night Run website.

All runners who have registered for the Airport Night Run in 2020 will receive an email next week with all the important information about their starting place in 2021.

Due to the upcoming events, we ask you to refrain from enquiries about your starting place at the Airport Night Run – thank you for your understanding!

Look forward to a high-altitude event and, with a bit of luck, run alongside a landing aircraft towards the finish line.
Your Berlin läuft team!
