Participation Requiment

Berlin has adjusted the corona restrictions on April 1, 2022. According to the new regulations, there are NO corona status checks at the S 25 Berlin anymore. We will comply with the regulations in force at the time during the run.

We are very pleased that everyone can now participate at the S 25 Berlin again!

Registration

You can register online for the S 25 Berlin on 15 May 2022. Online registration is possible until 12 May 2022.  Afterwards, registration is only possible at the collection of starting documents out in the Mall of Berlin.

Additional Services

The additional services can be booked directly at the time of registration. In addition, you can book them up to and including 12 May 2022 via our online shop. ATTENTION: After May 1, 2022, the event shirt will only be available at the start documents issue. Afterwards, additional services can only be booked at the start document issue or on the day of the event.

The additional services are collected at the start documents at the merch.

Event Shirt:
Event Shirts 25,00 EUR

Event shirts can be purchased for 30.00 EUR at the collection of the start documents and on the day of the event, while stocks last.

Medal engraving:

A medal engraving with name and time can be booked at the registration for 8.00 EUR and for the children’s run for 6.00 EUR, reordered via our online shop or purchased directly on site at the tent “Medal Engraving”. The engraving will be made on the day of the event.

Participant photos:

If you have booked a photo package with our partner Sportograf, you will receive a code before the run with which you can download your photos of the track. After the end of the event, you can buy photo packages or individual photos from Sportograf.

You have to upload a selfie to Sportograf to find your photos. A search for the start number is not possible. By purchasing the package, you agree to this and accept the privacy policy.

HD-Videos (Finish):

For many runners, their own finish line is the emotional highlight of a running event. The davengo team films your finish and makes the videos available in the online results service. If you want to capture this highlight as a lasting memory, you can also buy the video. The videos are also very popular as a gift.

The videos will be made available to you after the event and the link to the download (valid for 4 weeks) will be sent by e-mail to the participant or their e-mail address.

In the case of late registration, additional services can only be purchased on the day of the event and on the day of the collection of the starting documents.

Pick Up of starting documents

You will receive your start numbers at the start documents issue against the presentation of your start number on your registration confirmation. We will send the registration confirmations to all runners by e-mail in good time before the event. If you do not receive this e-mail, you can view both the start number and the registration confirmation in your Davengo account and show them at the start documents.

Additional trains will run. From 14 days before the event, the personal route recommendations can be called up via the well-known timetable information tools (e.B. VBB oder S-Bahn).

Arrival at the Olympiastadion

Access is via the East Gate (Olympic Rings). Be sure to allow more time for arrival and access to the Olympic Square, as there may be queues due to the bag checks!

Please bring only the clothes bag that you received at the start documents. In addition to bicycles, the following items may not be brought onto the event grounds:

To park bicycles, please do not use the fences at the Olympic Stadium, as these will be removed, but the areas on Trakähner Allee. For strollers and buggies there is an extra storage area in the kids zone on the event grounds. Please bring a lock to connect the stroller!

Possibilities for clothing storage and toilets are available in the circulation of the Olympic Stadium.

Clothes bag drop-off

You will receive a starter bag together with your starting documents. On the day of the event, please store the change of clothes exclusively in this starter bag and hand it in on the event grounds at the clothes bag drop-off.  After the race, you will receive the starter bag back at the same location when you show your start number. A liability for lost items is not assumed by the organizer.

Kids run

Children born between 2017 and 2009 are eligible to start

New this year! All children get a time measurement!

All children receive a medal at the finish line after successfully completing the course. Medal engravings can be ordered for 6.00 EUR when registering, reordered via our online shop or purchased directly on site at the tent “Medal Engraving”.

An accompanying adult will be granted access to Block E in the Olympic Stadium on the day of the event to pick up the child. For this you will receive an access wristband at the start documents issue.

Please note that parents or other accompanying persons are not allowed to walk with the children. The children should run out of self-motivation and without pressure from the outside.

Relay

In the 5×5 km relay, 5 participants complete a 5 km distance one after the other. All team members will receive a garment bag and a bib number.

The bib numbers with the RELAY NUMBER must be worn on the chest. A transfer or exchange of the start numbers is not permitted!

Relay change

The relay change points are set up at the edge of the track, so that a smooth handover of the baton is possible.

Relay change point 4 – Neue Kantstraße, after Lietzenseeufer-Str.

Clothing transport and return transport

At each relay change point there is a vehicle where the clothes bags can be handed in. The vehicle brings the bags to the next relay change point. There the runner can pick up the bag again.

Ticket

All relay participants have the logo of the Verkehrsbetriebe Berlin Brandenburg (VBB) printed on their start number. This entitles you to use public transport in Berlin from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Evaluation

The evaluation takes place as a team. There is no individual time measurement.

Time Measurement Relay

There is a 25 km total target time per team. The transponder for the time measurement is located in the scale issued by the organizer. This must be handed over to the next runner at each relay change and cross the finish line.

Access to the event site is possible from 8:00 am.

The start of the 25 km, the half marathon as well as the 10 km and 5×5 km relay will take place together on the Olympic Square.

The start zone is divided into the starting blocks B1 to B4 and is bounded by guide grids. Access to the starting blocks is possible from 09:40 am.

Runners who have not specified a finish time when registering online will automatically be assigned to the starting block B4.

Access to the starting blocks is provided on site by official judges. The starting block is noted on the start number. The bib number must be visible on the chest and is not transferable.

If the starting block is not marked on the start number, contact the help desk before the race.

Course

Time limit

10km – 1h 30min

21, 25 km & 5×5 km Staffel – 3h 15 min

The kilometers are marked by signs on the route. On the route there are 4 refreshment points, each 150 meters long. We ask you to distribute yourself evenly among the refreshment points. At refreshment points 1 and 2 we use reusable cups. There are collection points 50 and 100 meters after the refreshment point.

There are plenty of toilets at the refreshment points.

We ask for your understanding that the carriage of strollers and buggies is prohibited.

After the last runner, the course is reopened by the final vehicle.

You live at the course?

Please note that there may be restrictions in road traffic due to extensive route closures around the event. On the following map all road closures are shown. The roadblocks are from 09:00 to 14:00. The exact times can be found on the interactive route map. (Subject to change)

There are numerous stopping bans.

Pacemaker

In the map you can adjust the settings via the menu at the top left. You can show or hide different areas. 

Pacemakers will be in action for the finish times of the different distances. These carry a clearly visible flag with the target time and will position themselves in the corresponding blocks.

Target times:

10 km: 45, 50, 55 und 60 Minuten
21km: 1 Stunde und 45 Minuten, 2 Stunden und 2 Stunde und 15 Minuten
25km: 2 Stunden und 05 Minuten, 2 Stunden und 15 Minuten, 2 Stunden und 30 Minuten, 2 Stunden und 40 Minuten

Timekeeping

Timekeeping is mandatory for all routes exclusively with the easychip transponder from davengo. The chip is attached to the start number, must be separated from it and will be worn on the runner’s shoe.

Timekeeping relay

There is a 25 km total target time per team. The transponder for the time measurement is located in the scale issued by the organizer. This must be handed over to the next runner at each relay change and cross the finish line.

The target time is requested during the online registration.

Finish

After the finish at the Olympiastadion Berlin you will receive a finisher medal. The final runner of the relay receives the medals for the entire relay team.

In order to avoid obstructions, you will be asked to leave the finish area quickly via the marked paths of the spectator areas.

You will receive a rear destination catering in the upper stadium circuit in the area of the marathon stairs. Please do not forget to pick up your clothes bags from the drop-off points. This also applies to the relay runners. If the clothes bag drop-off is already closed, you will get your bags at the “Lost & Found” on the Olympic Square.

Time limit for completion of the route:

25 km and half marathon: 3h 15min

10 km: 1h 30min

25 km and half marathon runners who have not reached the cut-off point (Theodor-Heuss-Platz/Heestr.) by 12.45 p.m. will be collected by the German Red Cross and brought to the Olympic Stadium.

Results and the online certificate service can be found after the end of the event here or on the S25 Berlin Homepage. These can be downloaded as a PDF, a postal dispatch does not take place.

Re-Registration an Late Registration

Re-Registration

In the event that you cannot start in the booked distance and have not booked a money-back guarantee, we can offer you the following re-registration options until 01 May 2022:

Late Registration

If starting places are still available, late registration is possible. On the day of the event, late registrations will be accepted up to one hour before the start. The fee can be paid in cash, by debit card or credit card.

Late Registration

You can exchange participants until 12 May 2022 via your user account (then only at the start documents issue). Simply change the participant data in your profile.

Medical care

The medical support staff is located on the track and in the start/finish area. The exact points can be found on the route map.

If you need help on the route, you have to go – if possible – to the nearest refreshment point, where specialists are on duty.

Visitors in the Olympiastadion

Spectators are admitted without a ticket. At the entrance there is only one bag check. Please bring only bags of size up to A4.

In addition to bicycles, the following items may not be brought onto the event grounds:

This year, the supporting programme for young and old will be significantly expanded: On the forecourt of the Olympic Stadium there will be a stage with music, a children’s play and exercise course, food trucks and a “chillout area”.
